Caregiving Ministries
Counseling Ministry at FBC
The Counseling Ministry is available to both members and non-members and their families in the areas of individual, couple, and family concerns. Staff members are accredited by their respective professional organizations as noted by their credentials. Appointments are available each weekday and some evenings.
There is also a Family Life Committee that sponsors and supports several small group ministries, enrichment events, and educational programs through the church including: Divorce Recovery, Marriage Enrichment, Parent Education Workshops, and Personal and Spiritual Growth Groups. Many of these meet on Wednesday or Sunday evenings.
HUGG MinistryThe mission of the HUGG Ministry is to interact with individuals, families, caregivers, and patients in a loving, compassionate, and Christian way to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Volunteers are trained in various ways to make regular visits, help with minor repairs, and offer transportation for medical appointments.

Parish Nurse ProgramThe purpose of the Parish Nurse Program is to help people in religious congregations and surrounding communities reach their optimal level of whole person health.
