Gibsontown Ministries
Gibsontown Ministries is an outreach to roughly 200 families and individuals in the Cloud apartment complex. Several ministries are offered.


Kitchen of Hope

Kitchen of Hope is a Full Gospel Mission and part of our community's food assistance, serving meals Monday through Saturday, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. The kitchen is located at 740 East Sevier Avenue, Kingsport, TN.


Family Promise of Greater Kingsport

Family Promise of Greater Kingsport, Inc. helps homeless families. Local churches of a variety of denominations provide shelter and meals. The organization also assists families by helping with employment, education, permanent housing, and other needs.

Contact 211's mission is to improve lives in our community by providing a helpline, information and referral service, and support ministry. The vision of Contact 211 is to have a community connected with resources that improve their lives and it's free.

Holston Habitat For Humanity

Holston Habitat uses volunteer labor and contributions of money and materials to build simple, decent houses in partnership with low-income families.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels delivers hot meals to shut-in people. 500 volunteers cook and deliver roughly 230 meals each weekday from kitchens at First Presbyterian and Waverly Road Presbyterian churches.

Hope Haven Ministries
Hope Haven Ministries is a Christian, inter-denominational, non-profit ministry that reaches out to homeless men, women, and children who are suffering hardship. They provide housing with two facilities in Kingsport – one for men and one for women and children. Their programs include a job search program and a work program.

Exit 611
Exit 611 Ministries is a volunteer-based outreach program to some 1,800 inmates housed at the Sullivan County jail and the Washington County detention center and includes inmates released back into our local society.

Kingsport Community Ministry Center 

Kingsport Community Ministry Center is a multi-church ministry that addresses the emergency financial needs of individuals and families within our community. KCMC helps people in crisis. KCMC is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until Noon.
