Welcome
Kingsport Students is all about loving students and equipping parents to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus. 6th-12th grade students are invited to join us in fulfilling the mission of First Baptist Church of Kingsport as we strive to impact the students in and around our community through the gospel. We gather with our church family for worship and build community through Student Small Groups on Sunday mornings, and have high energy student worship gatherings on Wednesday nights. What is Kingsport Students?
Kingsport Students is the ministry of 6th through 12th grade students at First Baptist Church Kingsport.
What role do parents play in the Students Ministry?
We believe that parents are the primary disciple-maker of their children. We work to equip and support parents as they raise up lifelong followers of Christ.
Who are the leaders at Kingsport Students?
The church is healthiest when it is made up of multiple generations. Our leaders cross major age demographics throughout the church, ranging from College-age to mature adults. All of our leaders pass a mandatory background check before being allowed to serve in Student Ministry and have a desire to see the students at FBC Kingsport mature into lifelong followers of Jesus.
How can my student get involved?
In addition to our Sunday and Wednesday gatherings, we have lots of great events, retreats, and mission trips planned throughout the year. Check back regularly to see what is coming up!
