Join us in this exciting ministry event of First Baptist Church Kingsport, coming Saturday, April 9, 2022!

Our goal is to have 200 – 250 volunteers sharing Christ’s love throughout Kingsport that Saturday!

On Saturday, April 9, the First Baptist Kingsport community will host Acts of Love – Day of Community Service. FBCK volunteers will join with others who volunteer, to serve together in this one-day ministry event to be held at various sites in the Kingsport area.

This missions opportunity is a result of recent visioning efforts at First Baptist, and focuses on Christ’s call for us to be his hands and feet, reflecting his words to ”love our neighbors as ourselves.”

The day will begin with breakfast and devotional reflection in the church Fellowship Hall. Groups will then disperse to various project sites.

There will be a variety of volunteer opportunities, including Food Ministries, Construction Ministries, Thrift Store Ministries, Social Ministries, and Prayer Team.

There are opportunities for groups (i.e.  families, Sunday School classes, etc.) to volunteer together on projects. Crew leaders are also needed to guide each team.

Your hearts, hands, and feet are needed on Saturday, April 9! Sign up below to volunteer, or click here to view more specific information on the different ministry opportunities.

FBC Kingsport exists to love God, love people, and lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We look forward to seeing how God will impact the community of Kingsport through Acts of Love, a Day of Community Service. We look forward to this day being a reflection of 1 John 3:18, “Let us not love with word or speech but with actions and in truth." Let’s join together on April 9 to share God’s love with our neighbors here in Kingsport.
