We give because everything we have already belongs to God. Giving is not an obligation but a response — a way of saying thank you for His provision and trusting Him with what He has entrusted to us. "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).
